A month into Autumn and it’s pleasing to see still so many divers are joining our weekly guided club dives with water temperatures holding up and keeping things on the comfortable side of things with divers still enjoying run times in excess of an hour without coming out of the water frost bitten.
Autumn is typically a favourite for divers, the days are still warm (ish), the nights are cool, the wind is light and predictable, water temperatures are still acceptable for wetsuit clad divers and with the days getting shorter, night dives are back on the agenda and for those who haven’t experienced night diving, an amazing experience awaits you! Did you know that 90% of marine life is nocturnal?
CLUB NIGHT: Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend our recent Sea Shepherd club night, we had just under 30 divers attend a very interesting and informative evening where we all learnt a great deal about the plight of Sea Turtles, hopefully the message gets out further amongst the diving community and hopefully more is done on a wider scale to protect these animals and their environment.
