Reef, wrecks and BIG fish paradise.

Being so close to the Mariana Trench, the BIG fish are a regular feature of this famous dive location. A staple trip, every few years for Scuba Culture club members, Palau never ceases to amaze.

There are also a number of easily accessible WWII wrecks, the world renowned Jelly Fish Lake & the exquisite Chandelier Cave.

There is literally something for everyone in Palau, whether you like big animals, wrecks, reefs, macro life, technical diving or underwater photography.

A wonderful article has been written about Palau that gives a very good insight into the destination including its historical and current day issues, see: https://travelweekly.com.au/article/palaus-pristine-paradise-just-got-a-whole-lot-closer/

The main town of Koror displays a glimpse of Palau history and culture, most notably; the Etpison Museum. Complete with handcrafts and artefacts dating back over a century it is well worth a visit as is the local jail. In Koror jail the Inmates proudly display their carved story boards which depict past legends and lifestyles.

This island is a photographer’s delight and is also excellent for the non-diver. Palau is, without doubt, one of the most scenic islands in the Micronesia group.
